This article lists all GED (HiSET in Tennessee) prep classes and testing sites in the Knoxville region. Tennessee is using the HiSET for its high school equivalency testing program.
The HiSET exam is available online and at certified Tennessee HiSET testing centers.
The HiSET® exam, like the GED®, assesses basic knowledge at a level that is similar to what high school students must command upon graduation.
The HiSET exam includes five tests in the academic fields of Literacy Reading, Literacy Writing, Social Studies, Math, and Science.
The HiSET is available in both a paper- and computer-based version.
In earlier days, there was never an option to take the HiSET exam online. Testing was possible only at official Tennessee HiSET testing centers.
Now, this has changed as we saw the launch of a new online HiSET testing option. Read more below at the bottom of this page.
