Listed here are all GED (in Montana: HiSET) prep sites and test centers in the Missoula region. Montana uses the HiSET for its high school equivalency testing program.
HiSET testing is possible online or at one of Montana’s official testing facilities.
The HiSET® exam, like the GED®, gives people who quit high school prematurely the opportunity to earn a credential that’s across America accepted in lieu of a standard high school degree.
The HiSET assesses knowledge at the level that compares to what high school students must command upon graduation.
The exam comes with five tests in these subject fields: writing, reading, social studies, math, and science.
HiSET testing can be done both on paper and on a computer.
In the past, there was never an online HiSET testing option. To earn your high school equivalency diploma, you were required to show up at a state-designated testing center and take the exam in person.
Recently, however, we witnessed the launch of a new online HiSET test-taking option, the ‘HiSET-At-Home’ exam. Learn more below.
