If you make sure, however, that you understand the subject matter related to life science (biology), physical science (including physics and chemistry), and Earth science, you’ll have no trouble dealing with this 90-minute long GED subtest.

What’s on the GED Science test?

Life Science covers the human body & health; life functions & energy intake; structure, organization, & functions of life; genetics & heredity; evolution.
Physical Science covers transformation, flow, and conservation of energy; work, forces, & motion; chemical properties & reactions in relation to living systems. Earth & Space Science covers Earth’s systems in relation to living things; Earth systems, components, & interactions; the structure and organization of space.

What is the GED Science test passing score?

Just as on the other GED subject tests, you must reach at least a score of 145 on the GED Science test. Your score is calibrated on a scale that runs from 100 to 200. So, across the board, for the four subtests, you are required to earn at least 580 points, and averaging is no option.
