Listed here are all GED and HiSET prep classes and testing sites in the Erie region. Pennsylvania welcomed the computerized GED exam for its high school equivalency testing program.
The state additionally embraced the HiSET alternative that’s offered both on a computer and on paper.
Both options can be taken online or at state-approved test centers.
The high school equivalency testing program offers adults who quit high school prematurely one more chance to get ahold of an equivalent degree.

Welcoming Online GED and HiSET Options
In the past, to sit for the Pennsylvania GED or HiSET exam, you had to go in person to an official state-designated HSE testing facility. Online testing was never an option. That’s changed, however, with the launch of online proctored HiSET and GED options.
For more information about the newly launched HiSET online test, check out this article: ‘The online HiSET exam,’ and for information about the new GED online test-taking option, visit ‘The online proctored GED exam.’
