This page includes a full listing of GED test sites and prep locations in the Elk City area. Oklahoma uses the totally computerized GED test for the state’s high school equivalency testing program.
Additionally, the state welcomed the HiSET, which is offered in both computer and paper-based formats.
HiSET and GED testing can be done at official Oklahoma HSE (High School Equivalency) test centers and in an online format. For more information about the online HiSET and GED testing options, go to the bottom of this page.
The exams offer adults who left high school before graduating another shot at acquiring an equivalent credential.

These modules (independent sub-exams) can be taken separately and in any order.

Welcoming Online GED and HiSET Testing Options
Students looking to acquire their equivalency credentials always needed to come to an official, state-approved HSE testing facility. There was never the option to deal with one of the exams via the Internet. But now, we’ve witnessed the introduction of both a HiSET and a GED testing option in an online proctored format.
If you wish to read more about the recently introduced online proctored HiSET test, visit this article: ‘The online proctored HiSET exam,’ and for more detailed information on the new online proctored GED exam, check out this post: ‘The online proctored (O.P.) GED test.’

Your Future
The diploma that is awarded after successful completion of the Oklahoma HiSET or GED exam will certainly improve the job options of graduates, and it gives them access to colleges and universities. In America, we still can find millions of adults who never finished high school, and passing the test will lead to better employment options.
The GED program allows you to acquire a credential that is equivalent to a high school diploma so you can improve your living conditions. If you are interested in sitting for the Oklahoma GED exam, you need to be an Oklahoma resident, not be enrolled in any school program, and not already possess a secondary school credential.
