The exams offer individuals who haven’t graduated high school another chance to secure an equivalent degree. Both assessments measure an applicant’s academic proficiency at the level of a graduating high school senior.

If so, we suggest you move ahead with Onsego GED Online Prep, a comprehensive GED preparatory program that has received the qualification “fully GED Test Aligned” from GED Testing Service®.

GED® testing is done computer-based, while the HiSET offers both paper-based and computer-based testing.

The GED comes with four separate tests covering the academic subjects of

• Mathematics
• Language Arts
• Science
• Social Studies

You have the option to take one (or more) of the four GED subtests (modules) at a time.

The HiSET test comes with five tests (separate writing and reading tests) that are also available separately.

Online GED and HiSET Testing

Students wishing to earn their Colorado High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma can now also take the HiSET and GED exams in an online version. In the past, to earn the diploma, you had to show up at one of Colorado’s state-approved testing sites and sit for the exam in person.
