GED Classes Bend, Oregon

Listed in this post are all GED® prep facilities and test centers in Bend and surroundings. Oregon is using the GED exam for its high school equivalency (HSE) testing program.

GED testing can be done online and at certified Oregon GED test facilities.

The GED exam measures the level of knowledge at a level that compares to that of high school students when they graduate.

The GED exam has four individual tests (modules) that may be completed one at a time.

The totally computer-formatted tests are in literacy, social studies, math, and science.

In the past, online GED testing was not an option. Applicants had to come, in person, to one of Oregon’s state-designated GED test centers.

But now, that’s changed with the introduction of an online proctored GED test-taking option. Read more below.

Introducing the online proctored GED exam

In earlier days, if you wanted to secure your high school equivalency (HSE) degree, you were always required to show up, in-person, at one of Oregon’s official GED test centers. Online GED testing simply didn’t exist. Now, however, we saw the introduction of an online proctored GED exam as well, so that is changing.

An online proctor will monitor if you do everything in accordance with the regulations. To learn more about this new online GED testing option, go to this post: ‘The introduction of an online proctored GED test’.
