This post lists all GED prep locations and testing centers in the Stuart area. In Florida, to earn your high school equivalency credential, you will have to pass the GED test.
You can sit for the GED exam at certified test centers or online. Read more about online GED testing below.
The assessment is for individuals who quit high school prematurely and offers them the opportunity to earn an equivalent degree.
The GED® exam measures knowledge at the same level that may be expected of graduating high school students.
There are four independent GED subtests (or modules) in Literacy, Social Studies, Math, and Science.
The GED exam is modular, meaning you can take one of the four subtests (modules) individually.
This means you can prepare for one module, pass that subtest, and move on to the next part.

Introducing Online GED Testing
To sit for the GED test, there never had been an option over the internet. That is, until recently! If you wanted to earn your Florida high school equivalency diploma, you were required to appear at one of the state’s designated testing facilities and pass the four GED subtests.
Now, that is changing as a new online proctored GED testing option is introduced. To learn more about this development, visit this article: ‘The online proctored GED exam.’
Online Learning
Online learning has become very popular, and for good reasons. In our contemporary, fast-paced society, it’s very practical since you can learn when and where suits you best. Keep in mind, however, that online learning requires a decent portion of self-discipline.
The fact of the matter is that in today’s economy, holding at least a high school or GED degree is actually invaluable. To secure a decently-paying job, you need your high school or GED diploma. To save time and money, taking an online class just makes sense.
GED Passing Score
The passing score on each of the four independent GED modules is 145. There is NO averaging, so you’ll need to attain this score on each of the four tests. Scoring takes place on a 100-200 scale.
100-144: below passing score; 145-164: high school equivalent score; 165-174: college-ready score; 175-200: college-ready + college credits score.
