GED Classes Port Angeles, Washington

This article includes a full listing of GED prep locations and testing sites in and around Port Angeles. Washington uses the GED exam for its high school equivalency (HSE) testing program.

The four GED subtests are available online and at certified GED test centers.

The HSE test assesses knowledge at a level similar to what high school students must master upon graduation.

The fully computer-based GED exam has four individual subject tests in these fields: literacy, math, science, and social studies.

You can take these subtests (modules) one at a time. No need to deal with everything in one take.

The four GED modules measure knowledge at a level that compares to that of graduating high school students.

Holding a GED will certainly lead to far better career options and the diploma also qualifies for a college education.

The GED diploma is accepted in lieu of a high school degree by virtually all North American schools of higher education and employers.

Taking the GED test over the internet was, until recently, not possible. You had to show up in person at an official GED test center.

This has changed now with the launch of the online proctored GED exam. For more information, check the bottom of this page.

Washington State GED Practice Test

Your future

The GED exam is a group of four independent tests in General Education Development that assists adults without a high school diploma in their attempts to get hold of a GED credential.

The document that you will receive upon successfully completing the Washington GED exam is nationwide accepted as comparable to a high school diploma by employers, colleges, and government agencies. Please note that online-acquired documents have absolutely no value and are sure to be rejected by educational institutions and employers.

Introducing an online GED test-taking option

It used to be that you couldn’t take the four GED subtests online. If you wished to earn your Washington State GED diploma, you had to come personally to one of the official, state-designated GED testing facilities.

Recently, however, this has changed as we saw a new development with the introduction of an online proctored GED testing option. If you qualify for taking the GED test online, a proctor will monitor online whether your activities are in line with the regulations. To get more information about this great new development, check out this page: Introducing an online GED test-taking option.
