The HiSET and GED exams can be taken online and at state-approved official HSE test centers.

The HSE program is for individuals who never completed high school and gives them the chance to earn an equivalent degree.

Testing takes place at a level that is similar to what HS seniors must command when they graduate.

The GED comes with four individual subject tests that can be taken separately.

The GED tests are in these subject fields: math, literacy, science, and social studies.
