Both exams are available online and at official Ohio testing facilities.

The assessments give adults who did not finish high school the chance to acquire an equivalent credential.

The GED® includes four independent subtests in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

You have the option to take one of the four GED subtests (modules) at a time.

The HiSET® exam comes with individual reading and writing tests, so five in total, that can also be taken separately.
