This post lists all GED prep locations and testing facilities in the Lorain region. Ohio uses the computer-based GED test for its high school equivalency testing program.
The state also welcomed the HiSET, which is available both on paper and on a computer.

The GED® includes four independent subtests in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
You have the option to take one of the four GED subtests (modules) at a time.
The HiSET® exam comes with individual reading and writing tests, so five in total, that can also be taken separately.

Cuyahoga Community College’s award-winning ASPIRE program offers GED instruction to adults without a high school degree and who are in need of assistance to get ready for GED testing and be successful in college or a rewarding career.
The school offers GED prep classes on campus and at several sites within Cuyahoga and Lake Lake Counties. The ASPIRE program is for adult learners sixteen years of age and older. Cuyahoga Community College is part of the University System of Ohio. You can see all Cleveland GED prep sites <- here.

The 22+ diploma program is for adults who never finished high school and don’t have a GED as well. The program offers these individuals the chance to earn a high school diploma at no cost. Applicants must be Ohio residents and at least 22 years of age. Students must meet 9th-grade entry requirements and complete the program within two years.

Welcoming Online HiSET And GED Tests
In earlier days, if you were looking to acquire your high school equivalency (HSE) diploma, you were required to report in person to one of Ohio’s state-approved HSE test centers. But recently, we saw the introduction of both online HiSET and GED testing options.
