In this article, you can discover all GED prep locations and test centers in the Lima area. Ohio uses two options for high school equivalency testing, the GED and HiSET exams.
Both the GED and HiSET tests can be taken online and at official Ohio test centers.
The GED® comes only in a computerized format, while the HiSET® is offered on paper and on a computer.
The tests offer adults who could not finish high school the chance to get hold of an equivalent degree.
The GED exam includes four separate tests in the academic fields of Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
You have the option to take one GED subtest at a time. You don’t have to take the entire GED exam in one testing session.
The HiSET has five tests that can also be taken individually if wished. Here, the section “Literacy” has separate reading and writing tests.
In earlier days, online HiSET or GED testing was never possible. But there were some interesting developments with the arrival of online testing options. Read more below.

Apollo Career Center-Aspire GED Program

Orientation session: every 1st Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and classes are on Tues/Wed/Thurs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The school also offers College Transition Classes on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but applicants must first attend an Orientation Session on the 1st Monday of each month.
Vouchers to help pay for the GED exam are available. Through this initiative, students will be compensated for about $80 of the total GED exam cost of $120. Online Proctored HiSET And GED Tests Introduced
If you wished to acquire your Ohio high school equivalency (HSE) degree, you had to come in person to one of the state’s designated test centers. Recently, however, all of that has changed as we’ve witnessed the introduction of both online HiSET and GED testing options.
