GED Classes Lebanon, Missouri

Listed on this page are all HiSET (formerly GED®) prep sites and testing sites in the Lebanon region. Missouri decided to use the HiSET for high school equivalency (HSE) testing.

The HiSET assesses proficiency in basic knowledge at a level that’s similar to that of graduating HS seniors.

The HiSET includes five testing sections: English Reading, English Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

You will need around 7.5 hours to deal with all five tests that are usually split up over several days but you may also sit for the subtests separately.

HiSET testing is possible on a computer or in a paper-based format.

Online HiSET or GED testing was never an option. Testing needed to be done at an official Missouri HSE testing site but recently, an online option to take the HiSET exam online was introduced. Learn more below.

First-time HiSET test-takers are now offered the test for free in Missouri.

Recently, the state passed legislation that allows first-time HiSET hopefuls to get the normal cost (98,75) waived.
